       Some problems include ear canal blockage, which stems from a variety of sources.  Even some mechanical problems of the ear prevent sound from getting to the inner ear.  Other problems include the inner ear and the processing of sound that travels all the way back to the brain.  Congestion and pressure can also lead to ear problems as well.
